The Newcomen Society, Birmingham

The Newcomen Society runs a series of winter lectures at 7pm on the first Wednesday of each month commencing 2 October at the lecture theatre in Thinktank.

On the 4 December I will be delivering a talk about Sandfields Pumping Station, the Story of Clean Water and how it fed the Industrial Revolution.

Everyone is welcome and the admission is free, doors open at 6:P30pm. The theatre is on the middle level of the building.
